The Power efficiency table specifies power (machine) efficiency as a function of head difference, discharge, or both. When a Power efficiency table is used, the Power Demand time series will be adjusted accordingly.
Three options are available for the Power efficiently table:
1. Efficiency as a function of head
2. Efficiency as a function of flow
3. Efficiency as a function of head and flow
To include a Power efficiency table, enable ‘Use Power efficiency table’, select the table option, and click to browse to an existing table or to create a new table.
Note that the efficiency calculation necessitates iterations in the solution of the water allocation problem. Thus, for precise results, a daily or shorter simulation time step should be chosen when the Power efficiency table is used.
