The spectral wave module is based on the wave action balance equation where the wave field is represented by the wave action density spectrum N (s, q). The independent phase parameters (fully spectral formulation only) have been chosen as the relative (intrinsic) angular frequency, s = 2 pf and the direction of wave propagation, q.
