The first three parameters are related to bottom friction and wave breaking, respectively. The Courant number and time step factor is related to the inte­gration of the wave action balance equation. The length and area are related to the mesh used. The last four parameters are all typically used in connec­tion with detailed studies of air-sea interaction processes.

Dconv is the angle from true North to projection North (positive clockwise).
