There are two ways of starting your simulation:
· From scratch, also called a “cold start”, which means that you have to specify the model bathymetry as well as all other model parameters.
· As the continuation of a previous simulation, also called a “hot start”, in which case you must prepare “hot data” when doing the previous simulation. This is done by requesting that a file containing “hot data” be prepared in the Results dialog.
When your simulation is a continuation of a previous one, the bathymetry together with the additional area description from the previous simulation, is reused and cannot be changed. The rest of the model parameters you specify as for a “cold start”.
