Y-axis

On this page you define the limits of the y-axis.

The definition of the y-axis depends on the type of input item.

Per default the y-axis defines depth levels. The y-axis will point downwards, with the origin of the dfs1 file as the highest value and decreasing levels. An example is shown in Figure 10.1.

In case the dfs1 file contains a wave spectrum, with an input item defined by the type ‘Directional integrated spectral density’ or the type ‘Frequency inte­grated spectral density’, the y-axis will define the direction or the frequency, respectively. The y-axis will point upwards with the origin of the dfs1 file as the lowest value. An example is shown in Figure 10.2.
