The Directional Wave Analysis Module supports two types of input files:
1. a dfs0-file including a time series of surface elevation (or water depth) and two orthogonal velocity components (or fluxes) at the same position.
2. a dfs2-file including time series of surface elevation (or water depth) and two orthogonal velocity components (or fluxes) in a domain.
Most often the latter type is only relevant for analysis of data originating from a numerical time domain wave model like MIKE 21 BW.
When the data file is loaded an overview of file information is provided in the dialog.
You can view the selected data file using the MIKE Zero Time or Grid Series editor by clicking on the “View” button.
