Basic Parameters

In the Basic Parameters dialog you define wave gauges that may be included in the reflection analysis and the analysis output.

Wave gauges

The reflection analysis requires that two or more wave gauges and their position in the flume are defined. Wave gauges are chosen from a dynamic table containing information about the selected data file. The left column contains item names for input items. The rightmost column contains an editable field for each item, in which the position of the wave gauge is specified (in prototype measures).

Wave gauge positions must be given along a co-ordinate axis with positive orientation in the wave propagation direction.

Output

For each reflection analysis (defined in Analysis selections) following output is available:

·         Auto spectra for each of the defined wave gauges

·         Average auto spectrum for the wave gauges included in the analysis

·         Incident spectrum

·         Reflected spectrum

·         Reflection function (frequency dependent reflection coefficient)

·         Spectrum parameters, e.g. spectral peak-to-peak and period estimates
