1               Introduction

DHI BlueCast is a Cloud-based application and API that generates forecasting data and real-time measurement information. There are three components to it:

-       A front-end where the data can be viewed in a user-friendly way.

-       An API that can be accessed by other machines for using the data in other applications.

-       An admin application where the DHI duty forecaster can setup the details for new customers.

Only the first part is described in this manual, the other two have designated, separate manuals.

It is required that the user login to the DHI Cloud environment; the steps to do so are not described in this document. If assistance is needed for getting a Cloud login, please contact your system administrator or DHI support.
