2.2 Filtering charts
Each chart has several filtering options and buttons above it. These are:
- Location Name: a dropdown with all locations within the area. The points are marked by the type of data: FC stands for Forecast data, MPB stands for Measured data (from a PuBlic source) and MPR stands for Measured data (from a PRivate source a.k.a. data provided by your organisation specifically).
So Fino 1 (FC) contains forecasting data based on models, Fino 1 (MPB) contains data from a public source measured at the Fino 1 location and Fino 1 (MPR) would i.e. be data from a buoy of your own organisation at the Fino 1 location.
- Data Type: a dropdown with all data types (can be: Waves (Total), Waves (Wind-Sea), Waves (Swell), Water level, Surface current, Wind speed, Pressure).
- Hm0 threshold: a number can be entered which will act as a threshold value for Hm0: values below the threshold will be marked in red in the table.
- Hindcast length: same as the one at the top but acting as a filter for this table only.
- Forecast length: same as the one at the top but acting as a filter for this table only.
- help section (currently not specific per table)
- table view, click to jump to table view of the selected table instead. Will then be replaced with , which can switch the view back to the chart that was shown before.
- minimize the chart, will then be replaced with which can expand the chart again.
- remove the chart from the overviews. A pop-up will request confirmation before the chart is removed:
You will need to click Confirm to delete a chart.
Underneath all these is a legend that also acts as a filter:
The items vary per data type, but when clicked they will turn off or on in the chart.
