Example 1 is the simplest of the examples included in the AutoCal-MIKE She example collection.
The setup used in the example is a simple MIKE SHE model including only the Saturated Zone (SZ), which is composed of one layer (aquifer). Constant uniform precipitation is applied and rainfall completely infiltrates. See the setup for details.
The objective of the example is to calibrate the model with respect to the aquifer horizontal hydraulic conductivity, given a measured SZ head elevation in a random point of the domain.
The example is included as Example1.auc. Two subfolders, called "Setup" and "Measurements", are present. The first one contains all the relevant files for the auto-calibration simulation while the second one includes all the measurements/observed data (for Example 1 only one Time Series Dfs0 file is present).
