The GateTools type exposes the following members.

Finds which downstream water level to use for submerged flow calculation. The result depends on whether the actual downstream water level is within the transition zone or not.
Public methodStatic memberGetTransitionFlowFactor
Returns a value betwwen 0 and 1. 1 if water level is above upper limit and zero if water level is below lower limit. In between linear interpolation is used.
Public methodStatic memberGetUpstreamHead
If the upstream water level is within the transition flow the lower limit for the transition zone is returned. Otherwise the upstream water level is returned.
